Must know
  • The checklist appears only for a club whose website was imported from CCM. A club that started fresh never sees it.
  • Ticking an item off changes nothing on your site; it just moves the row into Dealt with so you can track what you have reviewed.
  • Only the most recent import run is shown, so a re-import starts the list again.
When Uplifter imports a club’s old Joomla site, the importer carries pages, menus, media, the home page, header and footer colours, the theme and measured text sizes. Some things cannot be expressed in the new builder, and some were carried in a different form. Rather than silently dropping them, the importer writes a finding for each, and Website → General shows them in a card titled From your CCM import with a badge counting how many are left to look at. Findings are grouped:
  • We could not carry these — for example custom CSS the old template used.
  • We carried these differently — for example a header band colour translated into a theme setting.
  • Worth knowing — things to check, such as a button that was drawn on the old home page but went nowhere (“Dead button no destination”: open the home page in the page editor and give the button a destination).
  • Dealt with — a fold holding the rows you have ticked.
Each row shows a title, the converter’s explanation, Yours was with the original value (with a colour swatch for colours), and a Change this setting link into the right screen — Header & Home, Theme, Site Sidebar or Club Pages. When nothing in the builder can express the item, the row says Nothing here can express this one. For a club on the Classic Club template the card ends with a note: “Your site uses the Classic Club template — the look of your old CCM site. Try a modern one under Website → Templates”, with an Open Templates link. Related: What are site templates? · How do I edit the header and home page? · How do I change my site theme?
