Must know
  • Settings → Club Settings is one long page with a single Save changes button at the top; ice-sheet rows save themselves as you edit them. Saving needs the settings.edit permission. A new club name, contact details or terminology shows on your public club site as soon as you save.
  • If the page cannot load your current values it hides the form (Couldn’t load your club settings / Try again) rather than risk saving blanks over real settings.
  • Your club’s name, address, phone and email are on My Organization → Overview, and the logo is under Website → General, not on Club Settings.
Club Settings holds the switches that shape how the club operates. Its subtitle sums it up: “Payments, surcharges, ice sheets, the rental calendar, volunteer minimums, and the member directory.” The cards, top to bottom:
  • Payments — Accept partial payments (a deposit now, the balance later) and Pay at club or by mail, which turns on offline payment and reveals a Payment instructions box shown to members. Book registrations at Confirm books a registration at the wizard’s Confirm, before payment, and reveals Release unpaid bookings after (days) — see How do I let members book at Confirm and pay later?.
  • Convenience fee — Enable convenience fee, then its Label, Percent (%), Fixed ($) and whether it applies at Online checkout and to Offline / admin orders.
  • Rental calendar — the default view, time interval, opening and closing hours and booking limits for ice rentals.
  • Ice sheets — the named sheets used when generating league draws, each with In service and Show on TV, plus Show sheets publicly, unless a resource sets its own Access. That switch decides whether the public sees the bookings of a venue that is not linked to a resource, or is linked to one left on the club setting. It does not hide sheet names on schedules. See Who can see a venue’s bookings?. The same card has Show 0 in empty standings cells (as older CCM versions did); off leaves them blank — it decides what a standings cell with nothing recorded prints, on the club site, the admin standings, TV boards and website standings blocks. A club moved from CCM v3 starts with it on (CCM v3 printed 0), from CCM v5 with it off.
  • Association exports — GNCC club number and USCA region name, printed on every row of the GNCC and USCA Format Reports. Leave them blank if your club does not send those files. See How do I export the GNCC and USCA member files?.
  • Season — Season starts in, the month your club’s season begins.
  • Club terminology — whether your screens say Subbing or Sparing, Round/Draw/Flight, Division/Pool.
  • Volunteers — Minimum hours per season and Enforce at membership renewal.
  • Member directory — Enable the directory and which fields (Show email, Show phone, Show city) members may see about each other. Off by default.
  • Member emails to a league — Allow member league emails and Sends per member per day (default 3).
Two neighbouring pages complete the picture. My Organization → Overview shows staff/member/league counts, your Subscription card and the Contact Information card whose Edit button opens Edit Contact Information (email, phone, street address, city, province/state, postal code, country). My Organization → Policies holds club-wide policies members must accept at checkout: New policy, with Title, Body, Required at checkout, Expires on and Publish on save; editing a body bumps its version and re-prompts everyone who had accepted.
