Must know
  • A campaign filtered to a league needs the club-wide Send Communication permission. A League Manager without it uses the League Portal’s Email the league page instead.
  • The League Portal send is limited to 5 emails every 5 minutes per league and every send is recorded.
  • Members can email their own league from the League Email page only when the club turns on Allow member league emails in Club Settings. Those sends never use broadcast credits.
As an administrator — a campaign. In Communication → Email Campaigns → New Campaign, either choose Send To → Program Registrants (Any Instance) and pick the league, or choose any audience and tick the league under Refine the audience → Leagues. With one league selected you can narrow further by Divisions and Sessions. Note that refinements skip curlers who have no login. As a convenor — the League Portal. Open the league at /league and choose Email the league in the sidebar. The page is headed Email everyone in {league}; write the subject and message and click Send to the league. It goes to everyone registered in that league. From the member directory. On Members → Directory, filter the list and click Email these curlers to open the campaign wizard pre-filled with those accounts (curlers without a linked account are skipped). Members emailing their own league. With Allow member league emails on (Club Settings → Member emails to a league, plus Sends per member per day), a member who is registered or on a team in a league picks the League, a Subject and a plain-text Message at /league-email, and can attach one file of up to 5 MB (PDF, image, Word, Excel, CSV or text). The daily cap is a rolling 24 hours. The League Portal’s Email the league page has no attachment field. Related: How do I send an email campaign? · What is League Email? · What is the League Portal?
