Must know
  • By default age is measured on the day before your season starts (Season starts in under Club Settings). Other conventions (a custom cutoff month, or age on the day of registration) exist but have no setting in the dashboard — ask Uplifter to apply one.
  • The wizard greys out a league the curler is too young or too old for, with the reason, before it can be ticked; checkout applies the same rule again.
  • A curler with no birth date on file is asked to add one, never let through.

Open Requirements

Create or edit the league and go to the Requirements step, Age Restriction card.
2

Set the limits

Enter Minimum Age and/or Maximum Age (shown as “No minimum” / “No maximum” when blank). At least one is required to save the restriction.
On the leagues step an out-of-range curler’s league reads Open to ages 18+ — {name} is 17 on the club’s age date. (or ages 5–12, ages 12 and under), and one with no birth date reads Open to … — add {name}‘s date of birth to their profile first. At the staff Proxy Registration desk the same reason is shown but staff may still book the curler, to make an exception. At checkout, an out-of-range curler sees: Member “X” does not meet the age requirement for “League” (ages 18+). Their age is N. A missing birth date shows: “League” is limited to ages 5-12, and “X” has no date of birth on file. Add it to the profile and try again. Waivers with age targeting always use age at the moment of signing, whatever the club’s convention.
