Must know
  • Duties are assigned by the league manager to a team on a game. Members do not sign up for game duties themselves.
  • The duty list offers every active volunteer role in your club (Members → Volunteers → Roles). It is empty, and the section hidden, when the Volunteer Management feature is off for your club.
  • Duties cannot be set while one side of the game is still TBD.
CCM let a club attach a volunteer role to each side of a game — the classic idea that “the team on sheet 3 at 7:00 does bar duty”. Uplifter Curling keeps that.
1

Open the game

On the league’s Draws tab click the game. Scroll to the Game duties section under the schedule fields.
2

Pick a duty per team

For each playing team choose a role from + duty. You can add more than one duty to a team.
3

Save

Click Save duties. The draw grid cell now shows an “N duties” badge, and the public league schedule lists “Team: Role” under the game.
In the classic view the Edit Game form has one Assigned Volunteer Role select beside Team 1 and one beside Team 2, as CCM had. If a team has more than one duty from the new view, the form says so (+N more duty(ies) set in the new UI — kept when you save; this select changes only the first.): changing the select replaces only that team’s first duty, and the others survive the save. Game duties are separate from volunteer shifts (dated sign-up slots members join themselves) and do not create volunteer-hour entries. Grant hours from the Volunteers page if your club credits duty nights. Related: How do I create a volunteer role? · How do I approve volunteer hours? · How do I reschedule or edit a game?
