Must know
  • A venue’s regular availability (days, hours, duration) comes from its Schedule step. Bookable slots are extra one-off openings you list by hand; Block time is an internal hold; a Closure removes a period entirely.
  • Also open on lists the same slot on several venues in one go, all-or-nothing: if one venue already has something at that time, none are listed.
  • A slot is open, claimed or cancelled.
Open the venue from Registrations → Venues & Rentals. Its page has three cards: Closures — click Add closure and set From, To (inclusive) and a Reason (optional). The scope shows whether the closure is All venues or This venue. Use it for the ice-plant shutdown or a bonspiel weekend. Bookable slots — two actions:
  • Block time holds a period for the club (a Label, Date, Start, End) so nobody can book it.
  • The + button opens Add bookable slot: Date, Price (blank = venue rate), Start, End, a Note (optional, shown to members), a Booking type (optional) for the calendar colour, and Also open on to list it on other venues too. The button reads List slot, or List on N venues.
Reservations — Add reservation books the venue for a curler yourself; the reservation is invoiced to them. Confirmed and pending reservations are managed here too (see the approval article).
