Must know
  • Three independent switches, all off by default: the Events feature for your club (a superadmin), the Events page toggle under Website → Pages, and the event’s own Open for public registration. Without the third, turning the others on would publish your board meetings.
  • Registration opens and closes in club-local time; a blank open time means midnight and a blank close time means 23:59 on that day.
  • A full event is a hard refusal — there is no event waitlist. Discount codes on events and add-on fees per event are also not available (the event’s base price is).
1

Make sure Events is on for the club

If Registrations → Events is in your sidebar, it is. Otherwise ask a superadmin.
2

Show the Events page on your website

Go to Website → Pages (headed Page Visibility) and switch on Events — “Show a public Events page… Each event must also be opened for registration individually.” Click Save Changes.
3

Open the event itself

Edit the event and switch on Open for public registration. Under Registration Availability choose Open Registration Now or Schedule Registration with Registration Opens / Registration Closes. Save.
4

Check

Use View on site on the event page. Registrants are charged the event’s Price through the normal checkout and appear on the attendee list as Signed Up.
Where a member registers for a paid event and you later switch Events off, they stay on the attendee list — the roster row is written when payment completes, regardless of the feature. An export of event registrants is not available yet; the attendee list on the event page and the Events Portal are where you see them.
