Must know
  • Available when a superadmin enables SMS Messaging for your club. CCM was email-only.
  • A text goes only to people who have granted SMS consent (captured at signup, on accepting an invitation, in their member account or at /sms-opt-in) and have not replied STOP. Others are skipped: “Recipient has not granted SMS consent”.
  • Messages are billed per segment; the composer shows {count} segments and chars remaining in segment as you type.
  • A scheduled SMS campaign is sent automatically at its time, just like a scheduled email campaign.
1

Start the wizard

Go to Communication → SMS Campaigns and click New SMS Campaign. Name the campaign and choose the audience under Send To, exactly as for an email campaign.
2

Compose

Write the Message Body. Watch the segment counter — a long message costs more than one segment per recipient. The wizard reminds you that “Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of future messages.”
3

Preview and send

The preview shows Segments/msg, the Message Preview and the total ({segments} segments × {recipients} recipients). Choose Send Now, Schedule for Later or Save as Draft.
Texts are sent from platform-managed toll-free numbers; each member always sees the same number for your club, so their replies route back to you and appear in the Chat inbox under the Web & SMS channel. Usage → SMS (headed SMS Messaging) lists every message with its Delivery Status: Queued, Sent, Delivered or Failed.
