Must know
  • Nothing is saved until you click Apply. While you preview, your public site is unchanged.
  • Back to previous template undoes one step only.
  • A club with no home page yet gets Start with this template instead, which drafts a Home page from your club’s details — you still have to publish it under Club Pages.
  • Open Ice’s header floats over the hero on the public site but looks solid in the preview.

Preview

On Website → Templates, click Preview on a card. The site preview opens with an amber bar: Trying a template, a Template to try dropdown to hop between layouts, Apply, Exit preview and All templates.
2

Apply

Click Apply (in the bar or on the card). The dialog Apply {template}? explains: “Your pages, text, pictures, menu, logo and brand colour stay exactly as they are. Colours, fonts, header arrangement, sidebar and sizes switch to this template’s. You can go back one step afterwards.” Leaving Classic Club adds that your measured CCM sizes are kept aside. Confirm with Apply template.

Undo if needed

The gallery header now offers Back to previous template (…). It restores your own values from before the switch — for a migrated club, Classic Club comes back with its measured sizes and header arrangement.
Starting a new site. If your club has no home page, Website → General shows “Starting a new site? Choose a template to kick off the design…” with a Choose a template button, and the gallery leads with a Kick off your website card. Each card’s button becomes Start with this template; confirm with Create home page and apply. This drafts a page called “Home” from your club’s name, address, phone, upcoming events and sponsors (it never writes placeholder copy), sets it as the front page and seeds the sidebar if the template has one. The toast reads “Home page drafted. Preview it, then publish it under Club pages.” — visitors keep the built-in home page until you do.
