Must know
  • A points row holds Win, Loss, Tie, Default win, Default loss and Per end won. Win, Loss and Tie are always required together; Default win and Default loss fall back to Win and Loss when blank; Per end won defaults to 0.
  • Rows exist per round × division. The most specific match wins: round + division, then round only, then division only, then the league-wide row.
  • Saving the grid re-scores every recorded game — the toast says “Points saved — N recorded games re-scored”.
In CCM, league standings were driven by points awarded rather than by curling scores — two for a win, one for a tie, and so on — and the points could differ by round and by division. Uplifter Curling reproduces that with points rules. A game’s points are worked out as outcome points + (per-end points × ends won). The outcome is a win, loss or tie, or a default (a forfeit), which can carry different points from a played result. If a league records numeric scores instead, the same rules still turn each result’s win/loss/tie into standings points. The grid on League Setup → Points has one row for All rounds × All divisions (the league-wide default), one for each round, one for each division, and one for each round × division pair. Leave a row blank to inherit from the more general one. Values run from 0 to 99.99 with up to two decimals, so half-points work. If a points-mode league has no matching row for a game, result entry is refused until you add one (see How do I enter game results?). A scores-mode league without a row falls back to 2 / 0 / 1. The words “round” and “division” follow your club’s terminology setting. Also available in the classic view as the Points Listing screen, with CCM’s columns Points for Win / Loss / Tie / Default Win / Default Loss and Points per End Won.
