Must know
  • My Organization → Today’s Ice is always available (no feature to enable). Columns are your ice sheets in listing order, plus a column for any venue not tied to a sheet and a Club-wide column for events and program sessions.
  • It is a view, not an editor: there is no drag-and-drop and no click-to-book. Each block opens the thing behind it.
  • Names on rentals need training.edit; other staff see Reserved, and draws of leagues they do not manage show simply as League draw.
  • Also available in the classic view, as CCM’s facility-calendar day grid.
  • In the classic view, a league’s Game Listing has Sync to Calendar, which opens Today’s Ice on that league’s first game night. League games are already on the grid, so there is nothing to copy across.
CCM’s facility calendar had a resource day view with sheets across the top and time down the side. Uplifter Curling builds the same grid from every source at once:
  • League draw — opens the league’s Draws tab.
  • Reservation — a confirmed rental; opens the venue.
  • Open for booking — a listed slot nobody has taken; opens the venue.
  • Club event — opens the event.
  • Program session — a clinic or learn-to-curl session; opens its calendar entry.
The header shows the day and your club’s timezone, with Previous day, a date picker, Next day and Today. You can link to a day directly with ?date=YYYY-MM-DD. Out-of-service sheets stay in the grid, greyed out. If the club has no sheets or venues yet it says “This club has no ice sheets or bookable rooms yet.” The dashboard home carries a smaller Today’s Ice card with a Full day grid link to this page; the TV boards show the same day to members in the rink.
