Must know
  • Available when a superadmin enables Custom Domains for your club. The panel then appears under Website → General → Domain Settings, below the subdomain field.
  • The hosting side of custom domains is not live yet. You can add a domain and publish its DNS records today, but a real domain cannot serve your site until Uplifter finishes that infrastructure.
  • Member sign-in, registration, checkout and the store always stay on your platform address (the club’s own platform address you chose under Domain Settings); members will see the address bar change when they sign in. Set your subdomain first.
1

Add the domain

On Website → General, under Domain Settings, enter Your domain (for example www.yourclub.com) and click Connect domain. The toast reads “Domain added. Publish the DNS records below.” The status starts as Waiting for verification.
2

Publish the two DNS records

The panel DNS records to publish at your domain provider lists a Name / host and Value / points to for each, with a Copy value button. Step 1 — proves you own the domain (does not change where it points) is a TXT record at _uplifter-verify. in front of your host. Step 2 — points the domain at your new site (the switch-over) is a CNAME. Add both at your domain registrar. The panel also notes the www or root twin that redirects to the one you connected.
3

Check

Click Check now (at most once every 10 seconds; the platform also re-checks every 10 minutes). DNS changes usually appear quickly but can take up to 48 hours. The status moves to Verified and then Live; Failed means the records did not resolve.
To take a domain off, click Remove domain; the confirmation warns that the hostname will stop showing your website within about a minute while your platform address keeps working. A club whose feature was later switched off can still see and remove an existing domain. If your club’s site is being served as a frozen copy of your old website, the copy is what your domain shows, and this panel stays on Website → General while the rest of the builder is hidden. Some hosts are refused: your own platform subdomain, any platform-owned domain, a domain already live on another club’s site, plain IP addresses, single words and wildcards.
