  • This is wording only. As the card says: “Reports, exports, links and imported data are unaffected, and the classic skin uses the same words.”
  • Clubs migrated from CCM arrive with the words their old com_curling options used, so most migrated clubs never need to touch this.
  • Both the new view and the classic (CCM-look) view use the words you pick.
Curling clubs disagree about vocabulary — a stand-in is a “sub” at one club and a “spare” at another; a block of games is a round, a draw or a flight. Rather than pick one, the product lets each club choose.

Open the Club terminology card

Go to Settings → Club Settings and find Club terminology.

Choose your words

  • Stand-in curlers: Subbing or Sparing
  • Schedule segments: Round, Draw or Flight
  • Team groupings: Division or Pool
The live preview underneath reads “Your screens will say {Subs}, {Rounds} and {Divisions}.” so you can see the effect before saving.

Save

Click Save changes at the top of the page. Menu labels, tab names, the members’ area, the League Portal and your public club site update immediately.
