Must know
  • Settings → Registration Form shapes the public signup wizard for the whole club. As the page says: “No code needed; changes apply to the public signup immediately.” Saving needs the settings.edit permission.
  • One definition drives every copy of the wizard: the members’ wizard at /register/wizard (always the new look) and the staff Proxy Registration desk, in either staff view. There are no per-league or per-program variations of the form.
  • Turning the Club liability releases step off does not skip required waivers; checkout still enforces them. Turning Your information off does skip profile questions for existing curlers, and nothing asks for them later.
In Curling Club Manager, every club’s signup wizard was a hand-edited fork — the single biggest source of support tickets. Here the wizard is a list of steps your club owns. The default steps, in order:
  1. Your information — the curler profile form (CCM’s Step 1).
  2. Select a membership — the membership catalog; the curler adds one to the cart.
  3. Select your leagues — league picks plus team and roster capture.
  4. Membership options — light select questions such as locker rental or student status, which can carry a fee.
  5. Club liability releases — the club’s waivers.
  6. Additional questions — your custom registration questions (Members → Questions). Members see this step only when your club has custom questions; with none, the wizard goes straight from the releases to Confirm. A club imported from CCM does not get this step, because CCM had no such screen; its questions are still asked at checkout.
An optional extra step, How are you registering?, can be added with Add a step this club uses: — it puts a “doors” screen in front (register my team / join a team / register myself). The confirmation summary and payment are a fixed tail: “The confirmation summary and payment handoff always close the wizard”. On each step card you can Move up / Move down, rename the title, switch it On or Off, and write a Step description (shown to members). The membership and league steps add Show descriptions and Show prices; the membership step has Require a membership (CCM rule); the league step has Rank leagues (2+ picks) and Membership first, separately (CCM mode 1); the releases step has Offer optional waivers in this step. Click Save changes — the toast reads “Registration form saved”. You cannot turn off both catalog steps while the club has memberships or leagues to sell: “At least one catalog step (memberships or leagues) must stay enabled while the club has items to sell.” Related: How do I choose the fields on Step 1? · How do I add options with fees? · How do I require a membership to register? · How do I choose team or individual signup?
