Must know
  • View Financials still opens every one of the 26 club reports, so a Treasurer or anyone else who reached them that way loses nothing.
  • Reports with no money in them also open to a narrower permission: the roster, contact and data-check lists to View Members, and the three volunteer reports to View Volunteers. Anything that shows an amount or a paid/unpaid verdict needs View Financials.
  • The GNCC Format Report and USCA Format Report also need View Financials, so only club administrators and finance staff can run them. They hold every current member’s address and phone number, and every built-in access level has View Members.
  • Club reports lists only the reports you may run, in both views; a report you may not run is refused, including its CSV and Excel downloads.
  • Email on a schedule, the Dashboards and insight tabs, Saved reports and the Report builder still need View Financials. Without it, Reports shows only the Club reports tab and opens on it, with no Sync now button; staff with View Financials land on Dashboards. The sidebar’s Reports section follows the same rule: without View Financials it lists only Club reports.
  • The whole Reports section also depends on the Reports feature being on for your club (it is a CCM-parity feature, so migrated clubs have it).

Which permission opens which report

A group with nothing you may run is left off the list, so a Volunteer Coordinator does not see an empty Other Reports bar.

The built-in access levels

  • Curling Administrator (full access) and Treasurer see all 26.
  • Volunteer Coordinator sees the volunteer reports and the roster, contact and data-check lists, but no money report and not the GNCC or USCA file, and has no Email on a schedule button — it can run and download Volunteer Hours, but not schedule it.
  • Curling Communications sees the roster, contact and data-check lists, and no money report, volunteer report or GNCC or USCA file.
  • Curling League Admin holds its permissions only for the leagues it is named on, so it sees no club reports. CCM granted Reports to its League Admin group; give the person View Members or View Financials explicitly if they need them.
To change who sees what, edit an access level under Settings → Access Levels and tick the permission — View Financials in the Financials group, View Members in Members, View Volunteers in Volunteers — or add it as a Granular Permission on the person’s staff record. Permissions add up, so adding View Volunteers to a level changes nothing else it can do. View Financials also lets them see invoices and payment amounts elsewhere in the dashboard, so prefer the narrower permission when it covers the reports the person needs.
