Must know
  • A new league records results as Points assigned by default (the CCM way). Leagues that existed before the points engine arrived were set to Scores. You can change the mode later on the League Setup tab.
  • The Weekly patterns on the Schedule step create rows on the Games tab only. They do not produce the draw schedule — you generate that on the Draws tab afterwards.
  • Once a league is active, the Settings button on its page opens a smaller configuration sheet (General / Schedule / Requirements / Waitlist / Staff / Registration) that does not contain the curling options below. To change those, use the League Setup tab or the classic League Edit form.
1

Start the wizard

Go to Registrations → Leagues and click Add League. The Create League wizard has steps Season (shown when your club uses seasons), General, Schedule, Requirements, Waitlist (only when a superadmin has enabled Waitlists), Staff and Registration.
2

Fill in League Details

On General, enter League Name, a description and category, and the Price (flat rate). Copy from Existing pre-fills everything from a past league. Leagues always use full enrolment — curlers register for the whole season.
3

Set the Curling options

The Curling options block holds the CCM-style switches: Type, Skill level, Requires a curler profile, Once per curler per season, Private (unlisted), Publish registrations, Required reading (shown before purchase), Post-registration message, Notification emails (comma-separated), Capture team info at registration, Accept individual entries and Max teams (blank = unlimited). The Signup capture box decides what the signup wizard asks: Skip-only entry, Roster name slots (blank = none, 4–8), “I’d like to play with”, Preferred positions and Comments box — “CCM leagues asked these at signup — untick what your club doesn’t need.” Tick End-by-end scoring to reveal Ends per game, and Publish schedule and results to show them to members.
4

Set League results & public page

Choose the Result entry mode — Points assigned (win/loss/tie → configured points) or Scores (numeric game scores) — and Display teams using (Team name / number or Skip’s name). Set Display order, an optional Prize fee ($) (charged per entry at checkout as its own line), Show ends won, Game length (minutes), the Standings columns, Standings sort by and Direction, which Public league page sections (Info / Teams / Schedule / Standings) to show, and a League info page. Below sit Participant scoring (lets members enter their own results), Spares list and Free agent list.
5

Schedule, Requirements, Registration

On Schedule set Start Date and End Date (or Use Season Dates) and add Weekly patterns (day, Start Time, End time, location). Requirements holds Maximum Capacity and age, gender and membership restrictions. Registration sets the Registration Window — Open Registration Now or Schedule Registration with Registration Opens and Registration Closes. Finish with Create Program, or Save as Draft.
In the classic view the same league is edited on the League Edit form, laid out as CCM’s was: General League Settings (Name, Published, Description, League Info Article, the Show Info/Teams/Schedule/Standings Link switches, Display Teams Using, Order, League Type, Track Ends Won, Per-end line scoring, Standings default sorting), Online Sign-up Settings (Gender, Publish on Sign-up, Mark as Filled (“shown as FILLED on sign-up and cannot be picked”), Team Entry, Skip Only Entry, Individual Entry, the preferred-position and play-with switches, Individual Entry Limit, Fifth to Eighth Player Entry, Show Comments Box, Individual League Fee, Prize Fee) and League Security Settings (Who can access this league:). Under Support Settings, the Membership Type rows are the memberships a curler must hold to sign up: remove one with its X, or pick one from Add Membership Type and click Add, then Save — the modern Requirements step shows the same list. A Sessions row lists the sessions the league is sold by, with each one’s fee, limit and whether it is filled, and Edit sessions (or Add sessions) opens the Session Listing.
