Must know
  • Seeing the list of discounts needs any Financials permission. Creating needs financials.create, editing financials.edit, deleting financials.delete.
  • Discounts are either entered as a Code at checkout or applied automatically (Apply automatically). There is no separate “early bird” type — an early-bird price is an automatic discount with a Valid to date.
  • The row menu offers Edit, Copy Code and Deactivate; there is no pause/resume. Deactivating sets the status to EXPIRED.
  • For a family Price cap, leave Uses per customer empty: setting it makes a multi-line cart refuse the whole cap.

Pricing

Set Percent off or Amount off (or the Reward for BOGO kinds, Maximum charge for a price cap, Bundle price tiers for a package). Optional limits: Total redemptions, Uses per customer, Minimum purchase amount ()∗∗,∗∗Maxdiscountperline()**, **Max discount per line (), and for recurring items First charge only / Every charge. In Eligibility & priority you can tick Once per curler per season, Show as a potential discount, Exclusive of all other discounts (“among exclusives, the greatest wins”) and Auto-apply by criteria (no code needed), which reveals Min age, Max age and Applies from Nth item. Click Create Discount.
The list shows each discount’s scope, uses, validity and status (ACTIVE, SCHEDULED, EXPIRED, DRAFT). Below it, Automatic discounts lists program-level family/sibling and multi-session discounts, which are configured in the program editor rather than here. At checkout an automatic discount appears as its own line under the discount’s name. Staff using the classic view of Proxy Registration see it as CCM’s Early Discount line. The total shown at Confirm is the total invoiced. Related: How do I offer an early-bird price? · What are fees? · What are club credits?
