Must know
  • The directory is off by default. Turn it on under Settings → Club Settings → Member directory with Enable the directory, then choose which fields members may see: Show email, Show phone, Show city. With no field switches on, results are names only.
  • Clubs migrated from CCM arrive with the directory on and email and phone shown, because CCM’s member search showed them.
  • Only club members can search, they must type at least two letters of a first or last name, and results are capped at 50. When the directory is off the page answers “This club’s member directory is turned off”.
  • Members always get the new-look page; the classic view is for staff only and has no Member Search screen.
  • Your club’s own fields join the directory only when you turn on their Searchable switch. Each one becomes a search filter and a result column. This needs the Custom Information feature and the directory switched on.
CCM’s Member Search let signed-in members look each other up. Uplifter Curling keeps the page (/member-search) but asks the club to opt in field by field — “Lets signed-in members look each other up by name. Off by default — turn on only the contact fields your members expect to be shared.”

Searchable club fields. Under Settings → Profile Fields, turn on Searchable for each club field members may search by and see (see How do I add my own profile fields?). A club field without it never appears in the directory, and no field appears while the directory is off. For a club migrated from CCM, the fields CB marked searchable arrive with the switch on.
