Must know
  • The Club liability releases step (your club may name it differently) shows the full text of each release that applies to the curler’s age.
  • Each release asks you to agree in one of three ways, chosen by the club: type Your full name, tick I have read and agree, or type an exact phrase (Type {text} to agree). Optional ones have Accept / Decline.
  • Signing for a curler under 18, the box reads Parent or guardian’s full name (or the tick reads I am the parent or guardian, and I have read and agree).
  • A release you signed earlier this season shows Already signed and still valid — nothing to do. Releases needing a drawn signature are signed at checkout instead.
Each release is shown in a scrolling box with a tag in its corner: Required, Optional, Already on file or Signed at checkout. If you used CCM, this is the old STEP 4 - Agree to Club Liability Releases screen. For a required release, do what it asks:
  • Your full name. Type your name (at least 2 letters). By typing your name, you confirm that you have read, understand and agree to this release. The name is not checked against your account — if it differs, you see a reminder that this is fine when someone else, such as a parent or guardian, is signing. This is how CCM’s releases worked.
  • I have read and agree. Tick the box.
  • A phrase. Type the acceptance phrase exactly — a mismatch stops you with To agree to “{title}”, type “{text}” exactly.
When the curler is a minor, a parent or guardian signs: I am the Parent or Guardian. By typing my name in this box, I assert that I have read, understand and agree to the Release, Waiver and Agreement above. For an optional release, choose Accept or Decline. Then choose Continue. Your agreements are recorded when you choose Continue to checkout on the Confirm screen; the footer reminds you that Releases you agree to here are saved when you confirm. Checkout still checks every required release — they can never be skipped. Each agreement is stored with the date, the name typed, who signed (you, or a parent or guardian) and the exact version of the release text you read — if the club later edits the release, what you agreed to does not change. It is listed later under Waivers in the Members Portal. A release the club resets each season asks again at your next season’s signup. If your club moved from CCM, the name you typed there is kept as history, but you type it once more in the new system. Related: Where do I find my signed waivers? · What happens at checkout?
