Must know
  • Your club sets a points rule for each league — how much a Win, Loss, Tie, Default Win and Default Loss are worth, and optionally points per end won.
  • Rules can differ by round and by division, so the same win can be worth 2 points in round 1 and 3 points in the playoffs.
  • Most leagues run in points mode: you record who won, and the rule turns that into points. The number in the standings is league points, not the curling score.
When a result is entered, the league looks up the most specific rule it has: round + division first, then round only, then division only, then the league-wide rule. Your points for that game are the outcome points plus, if the league scores ends, points per end won × the ends you won. A blank Default Win or Default Loss falls back to the plain win/loss value, so a forfeit is worth the same as a played win unless the club says otherwise. Some leagues run in scores mode instead, where the actual game score is recorded and the standings compare scores. If a scores league has no points rule at all, the default is 2 for a win, 1 for a tie and 0 for a loss. Because points are looked up per round and division, a league whose points have not been set up yet cannot accept results — see Why can’t I enter a result?. In the standings, RP is your points within one round; TP is your points over every game in the league. A forfeit shows on My Teams as (default).
