  • The most common reason: your league has not turned on participant scoring. The game says This league records results centrally. instead of showing buttons.
  • A game can only be recorded from its own day, on the club’s clock. Future games have no button.
  • If the club has not set points for that round and division, the save is refused until they do.
No buttons, just “This league records results centrally.” Your convenor or the club office enters the results; on My Teams there is no Record result button for that league. The game hasn’t been played yet. Results open on the day of the game, by the club’s clock — so tonight’s game can be entered after you come off the ice, even if it is already tomorrow where the server is. Until then the game has no button on My Teams, Game results or the schedule, and a save is refused with This game hasn’t been played yet — results can be recorded from the day of the game. The game is not in the waiting list. Game results lists at the top only played games with no result on either side. A game that already has a result is further down, under Recorded results — see How do I correct a game result?. “You are not on either team.” Only a curler on one of the two teams — or the guardian of one — may enter the result. If you were subbing, ask a rostered player. “No points have been configured for this game’s round/division…” The club has not set the win/loss/tie points for that round and division yet, so there is nothing to award. Tell your league manager; once the points are in, try again. “Scores must be whole numbers or halves from 0 to 99.5” In a scores league a score like 3.25 is refused; use 3 or 3.5. Points leagues have no score boxes. In a points-mode league only the outcome counts, so the dialog offers We won, They won and Tie and no scores. It’s a jitney league. In a jitney league, where teams change every night, results are always entered by the club or your convenor, and the night’s games are not offered on Game results, My Teams or the schedule. Your points update once the result is in. “A knockout game cannot end in a tie…” In a bonspiel bracket, play an extra end and record the winner.
