Must know
  • Joomla / Community Builder passwords are deliberately not imported. Every migrated member has an account keyed on their CCM email and no password.
  • Sign-in: enter the email, press Send sign-in code, type the code. “We’ll send you a code to sign in without a password.”
  • If a member’s CCM email was wrong or shared, the plan named it before cutover; fix the address on the member record and they can sign in.
1

Open the club site

<club>.uplifter-curling.com, or the club’s own domain if it was pointed at the new site. Sign-in happens on the platform address and returns to the club site.
2

Ask for a code

Type the email address on file with the club and press Send sign-in code. “If an account exists, a sign-in code has been sent to your email.”
3

Enter the code

Type it into Sign-in Code, or click the link in the email. Need another? “A new sign-in code has been sent to your email.”

Why no passwords

Migrating someone else’s password hashes means owning their credential format forever. The code login works for every member on day one, needs no reset email campaign, and a member who prefers a password or Google sign-in can set that up from their account afterwards.

Shared and duplicate emails

A household that shared one address in CCM has one login; each curler is a separate member under it. Accounts that collided on a duplicate address were folded together and the plan named each one for the club to check.

For staff

Staff accounts exist too, but roles do not migrate — the first admin is set up with the migration and grants the rest under Settings → Staff. An admin can send an invitation from any member’s profile. Related: What should I tell my members? · What does the import not carry?
