Must know
- The classic Maintenance section (and the
task=Maintainbookmark) opens a page that lists CCM’s seven reset buttons and, for each, what to do instead. “THERE IS NOTHING ON THIS PAGE TO UNDO!” — because nothing on it deletes anything. - Seasons are derived from Season starts in under Club Settings; Registrations → Seasons lists them. Each season keeps its own leagues, membership records, payments and hours.
- Roll Over Season copies leagues, membership types and bonspiels forward a year as drafts; rosters, payments and volunteer data are deliberately not copied.
Why there is no truncate button
CCM was an annual-reset system: archive the roster to a history table, zero the payment fields, clear the sign-ups, wipe the subbing and volunteering, start again. Uplifter Curling is season-aware: a registration hangs off a league, a league belongs to a season, a payment belongs to an invoice, and hours are dated. A new season starts empty by itself and last season stays on file. What each CCM button maps to
- Add Current Member Roster to History Table — “Not needed… the season IS the history table, from the first season imported from CCM onwards.”
- Reset All Users’ Membership Status to Not Current — “Nothing to reset — there is no ‘current member’ flag to flip.” A membership stops counting when its instance’s window ends.
- Reset All Users’ Membership Status to Current — “No blind full-table flip.” Granting a membership issues a real, dated, invoiced record per curler.
- Reset All Payment Fields to Zero — “Never. CCM stored payments in 21 profile columns and zeroed them every season, destroying the club’s payment history.” Invoices, payments and refunds are records.
- Clear All Member League Registration / Sign-up Data — “Replaced by opening the next season.” Use Roll Over Season.
- Reset Individual Registration / Sign-up Data — “Replaced by withdrawing that one registration.” Withdrawing previews the prorated refund, cancels the line and frees the spot.
- Reset All Member Volunteering / Reset All Member Subing/Sparing — “Nothing to truncate.” Roles carry over; shifts, hours and spare lists are per season or per league.
