Must know
  • Both live on the league’s League Setup tab in the new look. In the classic view they are the Rounds and Divisions sections of the admin bar (or Draws / Flights and Pools, if that is what your club says).
  • Rounds and sessions share one classic section today; the modern tab shows them separately. The classic Select a League dropdown on Rounds, Divisions and Sessions opens the same screen for another league.
  • Teams, games, points and standings are all division-aware, as in CCM.

Divisions (or pools)

“Skill groupings (A, B, …). Teams, games, points and standings are {division}-aware.” Add one per grouping; the placeholder suggests “e.g. {Division} A”. A team belongs to a division, a game is assigned a division, the points grid takes a division column, and standings print one table per round × division.

Rounds (or draws, or flights)

A round is a segment of the schedule — what CCM called a round and used as the first axis of the points grid and the standings. Games are assigned to a round when they are generated or edited; the standings tabs read Total Points for Each {Round} and Total Points for all {Rounds}.

Sessions

New since CCM’s Rounds list, and the reason the two share a classic section: “Subdivide the league year (Fall, Winter, …). Teams and games belong to a session; a session can also be sold on its own at signup.” A session can be Offered at signup with a Session fee, an Individual entry limit (or No limit), Registration opens / Registration closes dates and Mark as filled. “Offered at signup makes this session buyable on its own; the session fee is charged on top of the league fee, which is charged once however many sessions a curler joins.” This is how a CCM league with cloned per-session tables comes across: one league, several sessions.
