Must know
- Redirects are permanent (301) and stay on your club’s host. Members’ emailed links and years of bookmarks keep working after cutover.
- CCM’s numeric ids do not survive the migration, so a link to one specific league lands on that section’s Select a League screen (in the classic view) — CCM’s own starting state — rather than on that league.
- Every CCM admin component now has a landing page: Community Builder field administration, com_curlingsignup and com_waivermanager each open the screen that does their job, whichever of their views the bookmark named.
- Member links open the new member pages — members have no classic view. Admin links open the dashboard page, in the classic view for staff who use it.
Member links (index.php?option=com_curling&view=…)
Community Builder (
option=com_comprofiler), by its view= or task=:
Other components:
com_eventbooking → /events; com_curlingtv (the display URL) → the Club Displays admin, where you copy the new address onto the TV.
Admin links (administrator/index.php?option=com_curling&task=…)
Other admin components:
com_comprofiler (Community Builder) → by view: its user manager (task=edit, the link CCM’s reports put on every member name, and showusers) → Members; its field and tab screens, and anything else (plugins, configuration) → Settings → Profile Fields, which is CB’s Field Management screen in the classic view. A member id in the old link does not carry over, so it opens the members list rather than that member; com_curlingsignup → the Registration form builder; com_waivermanager → Waivers. com_facilitycalendar admin → Facilities, or Today’s Ice for its Calendar view; com_curlingtv admin → Club Displays; com_curlingregsync → Association Sync. Task names are matched regardless of case, because bookmarks in the wild are inconsistent.
The club’s own domain
If the club keeps its domain pointed at the new site, these redirects work on that domain too; members signing in or checking out are sent to<club>.uplifter-curling.com and back.
