Must know
  • Member side: My Subbing Availability (/account/sparing) and Sub Lists (/spares) — or “Sparing” and “Spare Lists” if that is your club’s word. Both are new-look pages; members have no classic version.
  • Admin side: the Subs section after picking a league (classic) or the league’s Subs tab (new look), for leagues that have Show on Spare/Sub List turned on.
  • Staff can add and edit rows (CCM’s New and Edit), and export every league at once. Different from CCM on purpose: the convenor of a league can read, export, add to and prune that league’s list.

For members

A member joins a league’s sub list from that league’s own page, with Join the sub list (Join the spare list at a club that says spare): the curler, up to two preferred positions and optional notes. A member can only add themselves to a league whose sub list is on — joining the list is the opt-in. Their row there has Edit to change the positions and notes later. My Subbing Availability then lists “Leagues you’re available to sub for”, one row per league, with a switch to mark yourself not available while you are away — “your positions and comments are kept” — an Edit button to change the two positions and the comment (even while not available), and a way to remove yourself. Below it, Other leagues taking subs lists every league at the club with a sub list you have not joined, each with Join. Together they replace CCM’s all-leagues grid of Not Available / Available and Position 1 / Position 2. Sub Lists is the live page, per league: name, phone, preferred positions, comments and email of every available sub. Any signed-in member of the club can read it, as in CCM.

For staff and convenors

The Subs tab on a league shows every entry — including members who marked themselves Not available — with Export CSV, Export all leagues, Add sub and a pencil to edit a row. The classic Sub Listing has CCM’s New (League, Member, Availability, Position 1, Position 2, Comment), Edit (or click the name) and Delete, and with no league selected its Export to Excel downloads every league, as CCM’s did. Adding a curler who is already on the list updates their row. Staff with member or league permissions see and edit every league’s list. A league convenor (a League Manager granted on the league) sees and edits the lists of the leagues they run, and only those, and can add only curlers registered in a league they run. Anyone else sees nothing. See How do I add or edit a curler on a league’s sub list?.
