What does the import not carry, and what do I do about it? - Uplifter Curling

Nothing on this list is lost silently. The plan names each affected member, page or fee before cutover, and the website gaps land on the From your CCM import checklist under Website → General.
The two everyone asks about: passwords (members sign in with an emailed code) and waiver signatures (members sign again — CCM kept only a typed name with no date or text, which comes across as history, not as a signature).

Passwords	Joomla / Community Builder password hashes are not imported.	Members sign in with Send sign-in code; announce it on day one. Admins can send an invitation from a member’s profile.
Waiver signatures	CCM stored only the typed name, overwritten each season, with no date and no copy of the text. The importer creates your waivers from the CCM release articles and brings each member’s name across as Imported from CCM history.	Every member signs in the wizard on their next registration.
Custom CSS and JavaScript	A CSS rule only means something against the markup it was written for; copying it cannot restyle a different structure.	Reported on the import checklist (`CUSTOM_CSS_NOT_CARRIED`) with what it targeted; use Website → Theme and Header & Home for the property changes.
Percentage fees — multi-league discounts, card surcharges stored as a percentage on a membership type	Refused rather than guessed.	Re-create as an automatic percentage Discount or as the club’s convenience fee before opening registration. The plan names each one.
Event registrants (Events Booking)	Not imported at all.	Export registrant lists out of Events Booking before the window.
Event registration	Imported events arrive as listings with registration off, no price and no capacity; only events from the season start onward come across.	Turn registration on per event you still sell.
Staff roles and permissions	Joomla groups do not map onto Access Levels.	Grant staff under Settings → Staff / Access Levels; grant convenors on their leagues.
Free-text volunteer shift schedules	No structure to import.	Re-enter as shifts.
A league’s full-year capacity	CCM had no column for it; `individual_limit` was session 1’s.	Set the league or session limit yourself.
Per-session waitlists	CCM had none.	A full session is marked filled, as CCM showed it; waitlists are a separate module.
Documents hosted elsewhere (Google Drive, OneDrive, another site)	The product will not store a URL it does not own.	They stay links on the page; re-upload the ones you want in the library.
Sponsors with no name or link (a folder of scanned cards)	Nothing to import.	Type them in under Website → Sponsors & Alerts.
Duplicate-email accounts	Folded together.	The plan names each.
Early-bird as two fields	Not stored that way.	Early-bird becomes a Discount with an end date.
A team league’s individual limit	CCM’s signup never enforced it on team leagues, so it is not imported as a cap. (On individual-only leagues it is, and the league reads LIMIT REACHED when full.)	The plan names each team league it affects; set a capacity yourself if the club relied on it.
Calendar copies of league games (the rows Sync to Calendar and CCM’s sync plugin wrote into the Facility Calendar)	The games themselves are imported, and Today’s Ice shows league draws from the schedule, so a copy would book the same ice twice. Copies of games the club had deleted were stale ice blocks.	Nothing. The plan counts the copies it skips.
Voting (`com_onevote`)	Out of scope.	—

What arrives, but needs a look

Every imported page is a draft, whatever Joomla said. Walk them under Website → Club Pages and publish.
A sixth CCM payment overwrote the fifth in Community Builder’s five slots. Where a member filled all five, that loss predates the move; the plan names them.
