Must know
  • Find a sub (or Find a spare, in your club’s wording) appears only for leagues that run a sub list. It shows every curler on the league’s list — those not available right now carry a Not available badge: Curler, Contact, Positions, Notes.
  • Export CSV gives name, email, phone, availability, positions, delivery hand and comments; Export all leagues does the same for every league you run, in one file.
  • Add sub puts on the list a curler who phoned you — anyone registered in a league you run — and the pencil edits a row’s availability, positions and comment.
  • The trash icon removes a row (Remove {name} from the sub list?) — for someone who has moved away or asked to be taken off. They can re-add themselves.
This is the one place Uplifter Curling deliberately gives a convenor more than CCM did. CCM denied the Subs screen to league admins; here you see the list for the leagues you run — because the same list is already published to every signed-in member on the Sub Lists page, and because you are the person phoning for a fourth at 5 pm. The list is what members set on My Subbing Availability, plus anyone you or the office added: the positions chosen (Any if none) and the comment. Rows marked not available show a Not available badge; you see the same table the office does for your league. See How do I add or edit a curler on a league’s sub list?. Empty state: No subs yet — curlers with a profile can flag their availability on the public league page. There is no to-do row for subs on What needs doing: a sub list is a resource, not a task.
