Must know
  • The League Portal (address /league on the club’s admin site) is organised around your league, not around the admin menu. Its landing view is What needs doing — a short list of outstanding tasks, each linking to the section that fixes it.
  • Sections: What needs doing, Who’s registered, Teams, Schedule, Results, Find a sub, Email the league, and Full admin view for the underlying admin page.
  • It exists only in the new look; Full admin view opens the classic CCM-style screens if your account uses the classic skin.
CCM had no convenor surface — a league admin used the same admin screens as everyone. The portal is built for the way a convenor thinks: “my Tuesday night league — what needs doing?” The sidebar is headed League Portal. Under This league you find the seven sections. Each carries an amber count when the to-do list points at it (for example Results 3 when three games lack a result). The header shows the league name, {n} registered · {n} teams and Next draw {when}, and each league’s card on Your leagues shows the same counts. For a jitney league (available when a superadmin enables Jitney Leagues), Teams opens the night screen instead: who’s in, drop-ins and Build tonight’s teams. Results shows the league’s individual standings. The {n} teams count is the league’s own teams, not the night teams, so it reads 0 teams for a jitney league. See How do I build tonight’s teams for a jitney league?. Everything you do here writes to the same data the club administrators see; there is no separate convenor copy. Full admin view at the bottom opens the league’s full admin page (League Setup, points grid, divisions and so on) when you need a control the portal does not carry.
