# What is a game duty?

> Duties attached to a game on the draw — ice scraping, bar, clean-up — assigned to a team and shown on the schedule.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * A game duty is assigned to a **team** for one game, and appears under the game on the league's **Draw Schedule** as `Team: Role`.
  * It does not appear on **My Teams** — check the league's **Draw Schedule**.
  * Duties do not add to your volunteer hours automatically; log them on **My Time Tracking** if your club counts them.
</Note>

Many clubs rotate small jobs through the draw: the early team scrapes the ice, the late team does last call. Uplifter Curling puts these on the schedule itself, as CCM did. Open your league, scroll to **Draw Schedule**, and look under your game: it reads **Duties:** followed by each duty. Several duties are separated by **·**.

Because a duty belongs to the team, it is up to the team to decide who does it.
