# What is the registration queue?

> On a busy opening day some clubs run a waiting room; you hold your place in line and get ten minutes to register when it is your turn.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Only clubs that switch the queue on for a high-demand opening use it; normally you go straight through.
  * While waiting you see **You're in the Queue**, your position **#N**, **\{n} people waiting** and an estimate. Keep the page open.
  * When it is your turn you get **10 minutes** to complete registration; the timer shows **Time remaining**.
</Note>

If a queue is running when you open **Registration**, **Membership Signup** or checkout, the page briefly shows **Checking availability...** then **Redirecting to queue...**. The queue page says *Please wait while we prepare your spot. Do not close this page.* and updates your place in line. **Leave Queue** gives up your place.

When your turn arrives the page changes to **You're In!** — *Your spot is reserved. Please complete registration.* — with **Continue to Registration** and a countdown. If the countdown runs out you see **Reservation Expired** and rejoin the queue.
