# What happens at checkout?

> Contact and billing details, any waivers, questions or medical info still owed, discounts and gift cards, then payment.

  **Must know**

  * Checkout is where the money moves. It re-checks everything the wizard asked and adds what the wizard could not collect: **Club policies**, waivers needing a drawn signature, **Additional Information** answers and **Medical Information**.
  * The **Order Summary** is priced by the same server code as Confirm, so fees, prize fees, priced options, discounts, tax and any convenience fee show before you pay. It has the **Discount Code** field, the gift-card field and, where offered, **Payment plan available**.
  * If your club booked your registration at Confirm, a band at the top gives the invoice number and the date your place is held until. Checkout pays that booking, and the code, gift-card and payment-plan fields are hidden.   * Success takes you to your receipt (that link works without signing in for 6 hours; the emailed one for 90 days); a declined card shows **Payment failed** — *Payment was not successful (\{code}). Please try again.*

    Confirm your **Contact Information** and **Billing Address**. The contacts and addresses you saved at this club are offered, and a new one you enter is saved for this club only. Where the club allows pay-at-club, choose under **How would you like to pay?**. Rank leagues under **Rank your leagues** if asked. **Continue**.

    For each curler in turn: **Waiver Required — for \{name}** — sign it the way the club set it up: draw **Your Signature**, type **Your full name** (a parent or guardian's name for a minor), or tick **I have read and agree** — then **Sign & Continue**, **Additional Information** questions, and **Medical Information** where a program needs it. Then **Club policies**: *I have read and agree to \{title}* — **Accept** each and **Continue**.

    Check the **Order Summary** — lines, **Discounts**, **Tax (x%)**, **Total** — and enter any **Discount Code** or **Gift card code**. Pay with the card form under **Payment**, or, for pay-at-club, club credit, a gift card or a \$0 order, press **Confirm Registration** / **Confirm Order**.

A progress list on the right tracks **Fill in contact info**, **Complete requirements**, **Complete payment**. If a curler is missing details the club asks for, a **Confirm your information** panel appears first.

Checkout refuses a basket it cannot honour and names the reason — an age limit, a gender restriction, a required membership, a sold-out league — before anything is charged.
