# What is Hero for League Managers?

> Ask Hero, the club's AI assistant, can answer roster and results questions about your league and propose changes you approve before they happen.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * **Ask Hero** is an optional feature the club switches on. When it is, a round button sits bottom-right in the League Portal — tooltip **Ask Hero (⌘J)**.
  * Hero can *read* your league (roster, unpaid, unplaced, play-with requests, subs, games, missing results) and *propose* changes (generate the schedule, move or add a game, create teams, enter a result). Nothing is written until you press **Confirm**.
  * Hero is limited to the leagues you run, exactly like the portal.
</Note>

Hero does the League Manager's chores in conversation. Ask *who hasn't been placed on a team yet*, *who still owes money*, *what results are still missing from last Tuesday*, or *who asked to play with whom*, and it answers from the same data as the portal. Ask it to *build the round robin*, *move the 7 pm Sheet 3 game to next week*, *add a playoff game* or *record that Team Larsen beat Team Smith*, and it drafts the change as a card.

Every write follows the same rule: investigate → propose → you approve → it executes. The card summarises what will change with **Confirm** and **Dismiss** buttons and then shows **Applied** or **Dismissed**. Hero applies the same rules as the screens — it will not enter a result where no points rule exists, or a tie in a knockout game.

Hero is billed to the club, not to you; the club sets a spend cap.
