# How do I approve a Hero proposal?

> Hero never writes on its own: read the proposal card, press Confirm to apply it or Dismiss to drop it.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Any change Hero proposes appears as a card with a summary and two buttons: **Confirm** and **Dismiss**.
  * **Confirm** applies it and the card shows **Applied** (toast **Change applied**). **Dismiss** drops it and the card shows **Dismissed**; nothing happened.
  * On **Confirm**, your permissions are checked again; if you no longer run that league you see **You don't have permission to do that.**
</Note>

Read the card as you would a colleague's note before they touch the schedule: which games move where, which teams are created, which result is recorded. If it is not what you meant, **Dismiss** and rephrase — Hero keeps the conversation, so "no, the other sheet" usually does.

If something cannot be applied — the game was moved by someone else in the meantime, the points rule is missing — the card reports **Couldn't apply that change** with the reason, and the data is untouched.

Applied changes show up in the portal at once: a new schedule on **Schedule**, a result off the **Games waiting for a result** list, new teams on **Teams**.
