# What blocks can I use on a page?

> The page builder offers content, media, layout and club-data blocks; a page holds up to 40.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * A page can hold at most 40 blocks; the builder shows "Full — 40 max" when you get there.
  * **Slider** can only sit at the top level of a page, not inside a **Columns** or **Tinted section** block.
  * **Member sign-in** and **Upcoming events (compact)** exist only in the sidebar builder.
  * Every block renders under every site template — switching templates never removes a block.
</Note>

Click **Add a block** in the page editor and pick from four groups:

| Group | Blocks |
| - | - |
| Content | **Heading**, **Text**, **Button**, **Notice**, **Cards**, **Table**, **Form** |
| Media | **Image**, **Photo gallery**, **Video or map**, **Banner**, **Slider** |
| Layout | **Columns**, **Tinted section**, **Divider**, **Space** |
| Club data | **Documents**, **Upcoming events**, **League standings**, **Sponsors**, **Affiliations** (default title "Proud members of") |

Club-data blocks draw live information: **Documents** lists your document library (all of it or one category), **Photo gallery** offers your published galleries, **Sponsors** shows active sponsors, and **League standings** pulls from a league. A **Form** block collects enquiries that land under **Form Submissions**.

Use **Show preview** while editing — the preview is drawn by the same code as the live page, so what you see is what a visitor gets. Image fields offer **Upload** or **Choose from library**.
