# How do I manage images in the Media Library?

> The Media Library is every image your club has uploaded, reusable anywhere the site needs a picture.

  **Must know**

  * Images only: `.png .jpg .jpeg .gif .webp .svg .ico`, up to 10 MB each. Uploads count against your plan's storage allowance.
  * There are no folders. Use **Search files…** and the name and description you give each file.
  * A file that is still in use cannot be removed — the library tells you where ("Still used by: …"). Remove it there first.
  * The library is every file the club owns; a **Photo Gallery** is a curated set you show on a page.

Go to **Website → Media Library**. Click **Upload** to add one or more images, or **Import existing files** to pull in pictures your pages and settings already point at but that are not yet in the library.

Each file offers **Copy link**, **Rename** and **Remove from library**. **Edit file details** lets you set a **Name** and **Description**. The **Where used** labels tell you whether a file is used on a Page, in a Gallery, as a Site setting, in an Article or by a Sponsor.

Anywhere the site asks for an image — a page block, the logo, a sponsor — the field offers **Upload** or **Choose from library**, which opens the picker titled **Choose an image**.

Removing a file from the library does not delete the stored file itself, so a link you copied earlier keeps working.
