# How do I edit the header and home page?

> Website → Header & Home controls the header arrangement and colours, fonts, sizes, footer wording and which page is your front page.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Every setting here is optional. Leaving one blank means "follow the theme or template"; the status card tells you how many settings are your own.
  * **Back to our standard** clears everything on this screen — fonts, sizes and footer titles included — but only takes effect when you click **Save**.
  * The hero image, headline, subheadline and intro text of the built-in home page live on **Website → General → Hero Section**. Only **Hero video** is here.
  * There is no video upload; **Hero video** takes an address starting with `/` or `https://`.
</Note>

Go to **Website → Header & Home** (the screen is titled **Header & Home Page**). The cards, top to bottom:

* **Header** — **Arrangement**: **Our standard header**, **Logo on the left, menu beside it**, or **Logo centred, menu on its own row beneath**. Colours for **Header background**, **Menu links** and **Menu link, hovered or current**, as hex values (an invalid value shows "Not a hex colour. Use something like #9f2b28.").
* **Type** — **Heading font** and **Body and menu font**; the default option is **Follow the theme (…)**. All fonts are self-hosted, so nothing loads from Google. A live sample shows the result.
* **Sizes** — pixel sizes for **Paragraph size**, **Heading 1/2/3 size**, **Menu size**, **Sidebar title size**, **Footer title size**; **Menu weight** and **Sidebar title weight** (Light 300 to Bold 700); **Sidebar title case**; **Button corner radius**; the **Frame** group (logo heights, **Page width**, **Sidebar width**, **Icon tile height**, **Section spacing**, sidebar gap, **Slider height (desktop)**); and **Accent rule under headings** for page headings, sidebar titles and footer titles. Out-of-range values are ignored. For a migrated club these are pre-filled with the sizes measured from the old CCM site.
* **Top bar** — **Top bar background** and **Top bar text**. The bar only appears when the club has a phone number or a social link; set the background alone and a readable text colour is chosen for you.
* **Copyright line** — **Your own copyright line** (use `{year}` for the current year), the **Footer column titles** (About, Contact, Social) and an optional **Fourth column title** and **text**.
* **Home page** — **Front page**: the built-in home page or any club page (drafts are listed as "(draft)"; a draft or members-only front page keeps showing the built-in home to visitors until published). **Hero video** for the built-in hero.

Click **Save** when done. The preview panel on the right is a model of the frame; use **Preview whole site** on the General screen for the real pages.
