# How do I create a photo gallery?

> Build a captioned photo gallery under Website → Photo Galleries, publish it, and show it on your site or inside a club page.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * A gallery holds up to 100 photos.
  * Published galleries appear at `/gallery` on your public site; the **Photo gallery** block on a club page offers only published galleries.
  * A gallery is a curated set you show; the Media Library is every image the club owns. They are different screens.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start a gallery">
    Go to **Website → Photo Galleries** and click **New gallery**. Enter a **Title** and, if you like, a **Description (optional)**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add photos">
    Under **Photos**, click **Add photos** and pick one or more images. Give each a **Caption** if you want one, use the left and right arrows to reorder, and the X to remove a photo.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set visibility and publish">
    Choose **Visibility** — **Public (anyone)** or **Members only (signed in)** — and switch on **Published**. Save.

A published gallery shows straight away at `/gallery`. To feature it on a specific page, edit that page and add a **Photo gallery** block, then pick the gallery from the list.
