# How do I create a club page?

> Build a free-form page from blocks under Website → Club Pages and publish it at /pages/your-slug.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * A page is published at `/pages/your-slug`. Leave **Slug (optional)** blank and it is made from the title (with `-2`, `-3` added if needed).
  * A draft is never shown to visitors. Turn on **Published** when it is ready.
  * Choosing a page as your front page happens on **Header & Home**, not here.
  * If someone else saves the same page while you are editing, your save is refused ("Someone else saved this page while you were editing it…") and your copy stays open so you can re-apply it.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Start a page">
    Go to **Website → Club Pages** and click **New page**. Under **Start from** pick **Blank page** or one of the starters: **Board and committees**, **Bonspiel**, **Contact us**, **League information**, **Learn to Curl**, **Club policies**, **Our sponsors**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Name it">
    Enter a **Title**. Optionally set a **Slug** (for example `board-of-directors`) and a **Search description** — the sentence search engines and Facebook show under the link; leave it empty to use the page title and your club name.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add content">
    Under **Content**, use **Add a block** and arrange blocks with the drag handle or **Move up** / **Move down**; each block has **Edit**, **Duplicate** and **Remove**. **Show preview** draws the page exactly as the live site will. A page holds up to 40 blocks.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set visibility and layout">
    **Visibility** is **Public (anyone)** or **Members only (signed in)** — members-only pages are shown to your club's members, staff and guardians. **Full width** hides the site sidebar on this page. With Full width off, **This page's own sidebar** lets this page carry its own sidebar blocks instead of the site-wide one (a CCM import puts the modules your old site pinned to this page here).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Publish">
    Switch **Published** on and click **Create** (or **Save changes**). Off keeps it as a draft, hidden from the website.
  </Step>
</Steps>

In the list, badges show **Published**, **Draft** and **Members only**. Deleting the page that is your front page sends the site root back to the built-in home page.
