# Can a convenor see the sub list?

> A League Manager can read, export, add to and clean up the sub list for their own leagues — a deliberate change from CCM.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Yes. Someone who manages a league (through the **Curling League Admin** access level with that league ticked, or as a manager named on the league) can see, export, add, edit and remove entries on **that league's** sub list only.
  * CCM denied this to its League Admin group. Uplifter Curling deliberately differs: the convenor is the person who phones a sub, so they get the list. The decision is recorded in the product's roles documentation.
  * Club-wide access still needs full access, *members.view* or *training.edit*. A Treasurer's financial permissions grant nothing here.
</Note>

A manager named on the league does not need a staff record at your club: signing in with the named email address opens the League Portal for their leagues, and nothing else in the dashboard.

In the League Portal the convenor's sidebar has a **Find a sub** entry (or **Find a spare**, following your terminology) at `/league/{league}/spares`. It shows the same **Subs** tab an administrator sees on the league page, scoped to the one league.

A convenor with two leagues sees two lists, one per league, and nothing for any league they do not run; **Export all leagues** gives them just those leagues. Removing a row is the same action as on the admin tab: the trash icon asks "Remove \{name} from the sub list?".

A convenor can also **Add sub** and edit rows. The curler search finds only curlers registered in a league the convenor runs — a convenor cannot look up the whole club directory — so a sub who plays only in another league has to be added by the office.
