# How do I run and export a club report?

> Pick a report, set its filters and download it as CSV or Excel from the Club reports tab.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Reports run as soon as you pick them — there is no Run button. Change a filter and the table refreshes.
  * **CSV** and **Excel** download whatever the current filters show. The Excel button is highlighted on the "…Extract to Excel" reports and on the GNCC and USCA Format Reports, but every report offers both.
  * Also available in the classic view, where each report has **Extract to CSV** and **Extract to Excel** links.
  * The list shows only the reports your permissions let you run — *View Financials* opens all of them. See [Who can see reports?](/club/reports/who-can-see-reports).
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Club reports">
    Go to **Reports → Club reports**. The reports are listed in their seven groups; click one to run it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the filters">
    Depending on the report you can pick a **League** (**All leagues**), **Division** (**All divisions**), **Session** (**All sessions**), a **From** and **To** date, and switch **Include history** on to include past seasons (the button then reads **Showing history**). Some reports, such as **Confirmed Payment Report**, take no filters.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download">
    Click **CSV** or **Excel** in the report header. A report shown as two tables (**Confirmed Payment Report**) downloads with both tables in the one file. The GNCC and USCA Format Reports download with the association's own file and sheet names; see [How do I export the GNCC and USCA member files?](/club/reports/how-do-i-export-the-gncc-and-usca-member-files). To have the report land in your inbox regularly instead, click **Email on a schedule** — see [How do I email a report on a schedule?](/club/reports/how-do-i-email-a-report-on-a-schedule). That button appears only for staff with *View Financials*.
  </Step>
</Steps>

A report you do not have permission for is refused, even from a bookmarked address or a download link. If a report cannot run you will see the alert **The report could not be run**; try again, and if it persists note the report name and filters for support. The page address includes the report (`/dashboard/reports?report=…`), so you can bookmark a report you use often — the same address works in both views.
