# How do I set the registration window?

> Open registration now or schedule it, set when it closes, and use an early access code for a specific program page.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * A daily job moves programs Scheduled → Open → Closed in club time. The wizard lists only open, non-private, active programs.
  * **Registration Closes** defaults to the program's end date.
  * For a club migrated from CCM, every league CCM listed on signup and had not marked FILLED arrives **Open**, so members can register as soon as the club goes live; every other league arrives **Closed**. Close any league that should wait before your cutover.
  * An **Early Access Code** opens the program's own page (`/programs/{id}?code=…`); the signup wizard's league list does not honour it.

    Create or edit the league and go to the **Registration** step, **Registration Window** card.

  <Step title="Choose when it opens">
    Pick **Open Registration Now**, or **Schedule Registration** and set **Registration Opens** (date and time).

  <Step title="Set the close">
    Set **Registration Closes**, or use **Close Registration** to shut it now.

  <Step title="Optional early access">
    In the program's **Settings** sheet, **Early Access Code** with **Generate** produces a code and an **Early Access Link** you can send to returning teams before the public opening.

**Mark as filled** is not the same as closing registration. A filled league stays on the signup wizard's list, reads **FILLED** and cannot be picked, and checkout refuses it. A closed league is left off the list. Tick **Mark as filled** on the league's **League Setup** tab, or **Mark as Filled** on the classic League Edit form. Untick it to reopen signup.
