# How do I add options with fees (locker rental, student status)?

> Add select questions to the Membership options step and attach a club Fee to an answer so it is charged at checkout.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Prices come only from **Financials → Fees**. Create and activate the Fee first; the **Charges fee** dropdowns appear only when the club has at least one active Fee, and typing an amount is refused.
  * A priced answer is charged once per curler per fee, as its own line under that curler's registration — even on a membership-only signup.
  * There is no admin screen listing option answers. The member's **Signup Info** profile tab shows their signup total.
  * A locker "Yes" becomes a locker request as soon as the registration goes through (paid online, free, pay-at-club or entered at the proxy desk), so it shows in the **Locker Rentals** club report straight away. Which locker the member gets is still the club's choice.

The **Membership options** step ships with two CCM defaults: "Do you require a locker for the year?" and "Are you a full-time student? (proof must be provided)".

  <Step title="Add the question">
    In **Settings → Registration Form**, expand **Membership options** and click **Add question**. Type the **Question label** and the comma-separated choices (the placeholder is "No, Yes"). Tick **Required** if the curler must answer. The trash icon removes a question.

  <Step title="Attach a fee to an answer">
    Under **Charges fee**, each choice has a dropdown: **No charge** or one of your club Fees, shown as "Name — \$price". Pick the Fee for the answer that should cost money (for example "Yes" → Locker fee).

    Click **Save changes**. From now on the fee line appears on the Confirm step and on the invoice when a curler picks that answer. A problem recording the locker request never stops the registration itself.
