# What is the League Setup tab?

> The one tab that holds a league's divisions, sessions, result mode and points grid — and where rounds and sheets live instead.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * **League Setup** has five cards: **Divisions**, **Sessions**, **Result entry**, **Filled** and **Points**. A fifth, **Team format**, appears at the top when a superadmin has enabled **Jitney Leagues**. The Divisions card and the Subs/Rounds words follow your club's terminology setting (Division or Pool, Round/Draw/Flight).
  * Rounds are **not** created here — they are created on the **Standings** tab as stages. Ice sheets are club-wide and live in **Settings → Club Settings**.
  * Changing **Result entry mode** saves immediately; switching to points shows the reminder "Results now record as points — make sure every round × division has a points row".
</Note>

Open a league under **Registrations → Leagues** and click **League Setup**.

* **Team format** — only when a superadmin has enabled **Jitney Leagues** for your club, shown above the other cards. **Format** is **Fixed teams** (the usual kind) or **Jitney — new teams every night, individual points**, with **Curlers per team**, **Answer cutoff (minutes before the first game)** and the **Individual points** for **Attending**, **Win**, **Tie** and **Loss**. A league that already has fixed teams can't be switched to Jitney: saving says *This league already has N teams — remove them before switching to the jitney format.* See [How do I run a jitney (drop-in) league?](/club/leagues-and-draws/how-do-i-run-a-jitney-drop-in-league).

* **Divisions** — "Skill groupings (A, B, …)". Type a name in the **Add** box (the placeholder suggests "e.g. Division A") and click **Add**. Each row can be renamed inline, moved with **Move up** / **Move down**, or removed with **Delete**; a badge shows how many teams and games use it.

* **Sessions** — the selling segments of a league (Fall, Winter…) with their own fee and registration dates. See [What are league sessions?](/club/leagues-and-draws/what-are-league-sessions).

* **Result entry** — the **Result entry mode** select: points assigned or numeric scores.

* **Filled** — the **Mark as filled** checkbox, CCM's "Filled". It saves as soon as you tick it (*League marked as filled*) or untick it (*League reopened for signup*). The card's help: "A filled league stays listed on signup as FILLED but cannot be picked, and checkout refuses it. This is separate from the individual entry limit — untick it to reopen signup." The classic **League Edit** form has the same switch as **Mark as Filled**.

* **Points** — the grid of win / loss / tie points per round and division, with a **Save points** button. See [How do I set points rules?](/club/points-and-standings/how-do-i-set-points-rules).

In the classic view these are separate screens reached from the league's left menu, each with CCM's toolbar (New / Edit / Delete / Save / Save & Close / Back): **Points Listing**, the rounds listing, the divisions listing and **Session Listing**. As in CCM, the Session Listing sits under the rounds menu entry. Each has a live **Select a League** dropdown that opens the same screen for another league, and asks first if you have unsaved edits. The **Sheet Listing** is club-wide: **Sheets** in the admin bar opens it without a league.
