# What is the difference between the Games tab and league sessions?

> Three things share similar names on a league page — the Games tab, the Draws tab and league sessions — and only one of them is the draw schedule.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * The **Games** tab lists the weekly *sessions* created from the **Weekly patterns** in the league wizard. They are calendar entries, not games between teams.
  * The **Draws** tab is the real draw schedule: dates, times, sheets, teams and results.
  * **League sessions** (League Setup → **Sessions**) are selling segments — Fall, Winter — with a fee and registration dates.
</Note>

If you come from CCM, "games" meant the draw schedule. On a league page here the tab called **Games** is something else: it lists the program's weekly session rows, generated from the day-of-week patterns you entered on the wizard's Schedule step. Those rows drive the program calendar and skip stored holidays, and some of the text inside the tab still says "Sessions" / "No Sessions Yet".

The draw schedule — which two teams meet on which sheet at which time — is on the **Draws** tab. You create it with **Generate schedule**, edit it game by game, mass edit it, import it from a CSV, and enter results there.

**League sessions**, on **League Setup → Sessions**, are the third thing: named segments a curler can buy separately, each with **Session fee**, **Registration opens** and **Registration closes**. Games are stamped with a league session so standings and rosters can be filtered by it.

In the classic view the menu entry **Games** does open the draw schedule (CCM's games list), so the mismatch only exists in the new view's tab name.
