# How do I enter bonspiel results?

> Record who won each bracket game, the last-shot distance and the lineup, and read the Schenkel running table.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * A knockout game cannot end in a tie; you must name a winner so the bracket can advance.
  * **LSD (cm)** (last-shot distance) and **Who played** (the lineup) are recorded per game with **Save LSD & lineup**; Schenkel uses LSD as a tiebreaker.
  * There is no ends-won input on the bracket dialog; where ends matter they fall back to the score.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the bracket">
    On the **Bonspiel** tab scroll to **Brackets** (or the **Running table** for a Schenkel) and click the game.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Record the result">
    Enter the score or pick the winner. Optionally enter **LSD (cm)** and tick **Who played** for each side, then **Save LSD & lineup**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Watch the bracket move">
    In a knockout the winner advances and the loser drops to the B (or C) event; the TV board and public schedule update the **Winner of …** / **Loser of …** placeholders with real names. For triple knockout and Schenkel, once every game in the round has a result the **Rounds** card unlocks **Draw next round**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The **Champions** tile at the top of the tab fills in as events are decided. A Schenkel's **Running table** ranks teams by W-L-T, then points, ends and LSD.
