# How do I show a screen on a TV?

> Open the screen's display address in a full-screen browser on the TV and leave it; the board refreshes itself.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * The display address needs no login and works from any browser. Open it full-screen on the TV (or the small computer driving it) and leave it running.
  * The board re-reads its data every **Seconds between refreshes** (15–3600, default 60). It never reloads the page, and if a refresh fails because of the network it keeps showing the last good board rather than going blank. If the address has been replaced, or the screen switched off or deleted, the open board clears to **This display address is no longer active**.
  * A club migrated from CCM needs a new address for every TV: CCM's TV setup does not carry over.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Copy the address">
    On **Settings → Club Displays**, find the screen and click **Copy address** in its card header. **Preview** opens the same board in a new tab so you can check it first.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open it on the TV">
    On the TV's browser, paste the address and put the browser into full-screen mode. Make sure **Screen is on** is switched on for that screen, otherwise the address returns "not found".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Leave it">
    The board shows **Loading…** briefly, then draws. It cycles through the boards you ticked, refreshes on its timer and ticks the clock every few seconds. When there is genuinely nothing to show it reads **NOTHING TO DISPLAY RIGHT NOW**.
  </Step>
</Steps>

If the address is wrong, the screen is switched off or a new address has been issued, a fresh load shows **Display unavailable**.

In CCM the TV page was an admin page, so clubs left an administrator permanently signed in on the rink PC. Here the address itself is the only credential: nothing else on the club's site is reachable from it, and you can replace it whenever you like.
