# How do I add a screen and choose what it shows?

> Create a screen under Settings → Club Displays and set its boards, standings, slide deck, clock, ticker, sizes and sheets — every change saves as you make it.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * There is no add dialog: type a **Name** in the **Add a screen** card and click **Add screen**. Everything else is set on the screen's card afterwards, and each change saves immediately.
  * Pick more than one board and the screen rotates between them every **Seconds per board**.
  * **Show who booked the ice** is off by default because the display address is not behind a login.
</Note>

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create the screen">
    Go to **Settings → Club Displays**. In the **Add a screen** card ("One per TV, so the lounge and the ice shed can show different things.") enter a **Name** — the placeholder suggests "e.g. Lounge TV" — and click **Add screen**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose its boards">
    On the new card, under **Boards to show**, tick **Today's ice** (on by default), **Standings**, **Ice bookings** and/or **Slide deck**. For standings, set **Standings for** to **Whichever league is on the ice** or a specific league.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set up a slide deck (optional)">
    Choose **Embed a deck** ("Google Slides, Canva, anything with a published address") and paste the **Deck address** — it must start with `https://`, and a Google Slides deck must be published to the web (a `/edit` link is converted for you) — or choose **Upload pictures** and add images.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Adjust the look">
    Switch **Clock** on or off, choose **Dark screen** or leave it light, turn on **Scrolling message** and type the ticker text (for example "Friday Night Mixed starts at 7:00"), and set **Text size** (50–200 %), **Seconds per board** (5–600, default 20) and **Seconds between refreshes** (15–3600, default 60).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick the sheets">
    Under **Sheets on this screen**, untick any sheet this TV should not show. Each sheet carries a badge — **On TV**, **Off TV** or **Out of service** — from its settings under Club Settings → Ice sheets.
  </Step>
</Steps>

The **Screen is on** switch turns the address off without deleting the screen; while off it shows an **Off** badge and the address returns "not found". The card header has **Copy address**, **Preview** and a delete button ("Delete "…"? Its display address stops working.").

If your club has no ice sheets yet, the card warns **No sheets configured** and the board guesses its columns from scheduled draws; add sheets under **Settings → Club Settings → Ice sheets**.
