# How do I manage Hero conversations?

> Start a new thread, return to a recent one, or delete it; threads are private to you and titled automatically.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Conversations are private to the person who had them; another administrator cannot see yours.
  * The list shows your 20 most recent threads. A thread is titled automatically from your first message (up to 80 characters); threads cannot be renamed.
  * Deleting a thread removes its history. Proposal cards you confirmed have already been applied and are not undone by deleting the thread.
</Note>

In the Hero panel header two icons manage threads: **Conversations** opens the list of your recent threads, and **New conversation** starts a fresh one. Until you have asked anything the list reads **No conversations yet.**; a thread that has no title yet shows as **Untitled conversation**.

Reopening a thread brings back the whole exchange, including any proposal cards with their **Applied** or **Dismissed** state, so you can see what was done. To remove a thread, use the trash icon next to it in the list.

Start a new conversation when you change topic — Hero uses the thread as context, so a fresh thread gives cleaner answers than a long mixed one.
