# Where did Teams go?

> CCM's per-league Teams list is the Teams tab of a league; the classic view keeps the Teams section with skip, vice, second and lead columns.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * New look: a league's **Teams** tab. Classic view: pick a league, then **Teams**.
  * The classic list shows CCM's columns — # or Name, Skip, Vice, Second, Lead, Wins, Losses, Draws, Published. **Copy Team** works as in CCM: tick teams, pick a league, **Copy**. The new look has the same as **Copy teams** on the Teams tab.
  * Teams can be built from what curlers declared at signup, or drawn at random honouring position preferences and play-with requests.
</Note>

## The list

A team belongs to a league, a division and a session, and carries its roster by position — skip, vice, second, lead and the fifth-to-eighth players a league allows. The league's **Display Teams Using** choice decides whether members see the team name or the skip's name ("Larsen, Milton") across the schedule and standings.

## Building teams

* **From signup.** A team registration creates its team with the roster the skip entered; individual registrations wait to be placed. The convenor portal flags "\{count} curlers registered and no teams yet" and "\{count} curler is not on a team".
* **Random draw.** A position-aware random draw builds teams from the positions curlers ranked at signup and honours play-with requests.
* **By hand.** Add, edit and move curlers between teams on the tab; a game whose teams change after a result exists asks you to **Clear result and change teams**.
* **Copied from another league.** Each ticked team is re-created in the chosen league as "\{name} - Copy" with its roster, published, as CCM did; division and session are not copied, and a capped league refuses a copy that would overfill it. See [How do I copy teams to another league?](/club/leagues-and-draws/how-do-i-copy-teams-to-another-league).

## What members see

**My Teams** (`/account/teams`, listed on the club site's **My Account** page) lists the teams a member is on, and — as CCM's page said — it reflects the official teams the scheduler uses, not what was typed at signup.
